It's hacked into the mainframe of serving really good food for little cost. So its obvious then why Paris Fury spends so much time at the bar and restaurant. The £11.50 Salmon Pasta, for example, is £7.99 in the happy hour. While we weren't in time for it, The Cornerhouse also runs a happy hour where the price of a decent list of pizza and pasta is even cheaper than what we bagged it for. The cheesecake came out with a drizzle of rich chocolate sauce and honestly looked like a dessert you'd pay upward of £8 for. We knew then that we were obviously sharing dessert and got the Tiramisu Cheesecake with salted caramel ice cream (£5.25). Neither of us finished the dishes entirely - despite huge efforts - and headed into dessert with some well formed food babies. What The Cornerhouse masters is the combination of good food and massive portion sizes. The Lobster Ravioli was made up of an estimated eight pieces of ravioli and tarragon cream sauce, as well as smoked salmon, prawns, garlic, chilli and Pernod. I also want to take a moment to exaggerate the price of that cocktail. The Twister cocktail is the good bit of a twister - the middle bit. Naming your cocktail after an iconic frozen ice cream is a bold move but The Cornerhouse did not come to play. I've seen Paris post a boomerang of the Twister cocktail (£7.95) so I asked for the same. We took a two-seater with a booth on one side and a chair on the other and were quickly asked what drinks we wanted.

The lighting inside is dim, making the experience a touch more intimate and shady, but its evened out with a long stretch of windows which you can sit by if you're looking for some serotonin. It has a wide range of booths, larger tables for booths and some additional space in a side-room with questionable barbed wire wallpaper. Inside, The Cornerhouse is classy without being in your face.

The restaurant area is tucked away behind the main cocktail bar which I have frequented, because they do a brilliant Pornstar Martini. I have lived in Lancaster for a number of years now and have never thought to sit down for food at The Cornerhouse. Paris' 1 million followers then have seen the joy of clinking cocktails there and have taken Fury's word on how great the food is. The Cornerhouse on New Street is both a bar and restaurant and over the past few months, Paris has shared snaps of herself enjoying cocktails and food there with her mates and family. Its through Instagram that I found out Paris Fury's favourite weekend hang out spot is slap bang in the centre of Lancaster. Instagram is a great way of seeing what people are up to and where to go if they've come across any good scran.
