I don't have a t5 to look at, but, to reiterate a point, noise happens with every camera. It's too time consuming and, as mentioned above, I just don't have the capabilities to do this kind of stuff. I'm not running footage through other editing software, exporting it, and then re-importing into hitfilm.

When somebody says to convert a file, I think of something like smart converter or something. I already have Hitfilm and DaVinci Resolve (which I pretty much never use) and it's stretching my computer's capabilities as it is. Prores (whatever that is exactly) was suggested.especially for Mac users. That I should transcode (convert) video files for better editing. I told you guys I was an idiot when it came to this stuff. I keep revisiting this topic, but still only understand it on a 3rd grade level. I'm not sure which comment you're referring to though.
